[ even with the reassurance, there's an obvious hesitance. what would sirius and peter want to do? sirius would probably roll over and die before trust anyone with remus' secret, and peter would just trust james' judgment. remus surely wouldn't agree or want to trust anyone else with this, but what choice do they have with their situation?

Every month, he becomes something he's -- not. Normally, Sirius, Peter, and I -- the three of us keep him in line and make sure he keeps himself safe, but as we're two short and in the depths of space, I need to improvise. [Her voice is curious, but also concerned. If it's true, then their world's werewolves must be slightly different from hers. She never felt the need to tell someone they might need to shoot Mason. But then, he was very well brought up.

[Stefan's face loses his color completely - he knows what his world's werewolves are like, and as long as Remus can't get to Stefan, he'll be fine. All the same, he turns to Alex, and while his voice's soft, it's possible to hear:] Which means I can't hang around the Paisley that night either.

[ it's said a bit defensively, from both reactions -- and while james, logically, knows why people are afraid of werewolves and why most people aren't the biggest fans of them, it's not remus' fault. and he's also just defensive of his friends in general. ]
